My Story

Born in the Winter of the mid 1980s, I have been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon. After high school I did not go to college as originally planned, in fear of becoming a stereotypical starving artist. I was once one who played it safe and took no chances. However, this Pennsylvania native took a chance and relocated herself and her little dog to Georgia in 2006 with aspirations of completing a tattoo apprenticeship. This happily-ever-after story didn't quite go as planned and I returned North again after almost a decade of living this southern dream. I kicked the red mud off my shoes and brought back with me the best part of my GA life, my two beautiful children. After settling into our new routine, we found the next piece to our puzzle; the man who would step up and take on fatherhood in a heartbeat. Once life settled down, we welcomed the fifth and final piece to our family portrait. The days have been long, but the years have felt short. Just living the 9-5, paycheck-to-paycheck, do-as-you're-told life struck a nerve in me ever since I entered adulthood. It was the whole reason I ventured southward. After some soul searching and self-realization (not to mention heartache and life lessons!), I am ready to share my passions. I'm ready to create art from my heart to canvas of all kinds.
